Intelligent change in flux, rather than resistance to a dynamic environment, has always been oddity’s motto. Now the digital-driven communications agency has found a new breeding ground for this culture-shaping guiding principle. Since March 2022, oddity has been a part of WongDoody, an award winning creative agency of the internationally renowned tech company Infosys. From now on, oddity’s creative endeavours will continue under the WongDoody brand. With more than 2,000 employees in 22 design studios on four continents, WongDoody focuses on creating radically relevant human experiences through experience design, immersive experiences and future-proof, holistic marketing. Together with their internationally renowned parent tech company Infosys, WongDoody's mission is to deliver compelling and unconventional answers to a product and marketing landscape that is changing ever more comprehensively and dynamically, most recently greatly accelerated by the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

With 23 years of experience and around 400 employees at six locations in Europe and Asia, the oddity team will be an instrumental part of this pursuit and will establish WongDoody as a special agency format in the European market in the DACH region and beyond as well as in Asia, all while playing a key role in shaping the creative brand and shared culture as it continues to evolve.

Simon Umbreit, co-founder of oddity and now Managing Director at WongDoody: "The first 1.5 years of successful collaboration with our new agency and Infosys-colleagues have confirmed what we had hoped for: A high degree of connection across cultures, the chance to play a truly active role in shaping a global company, and the incredible power that comes from the complementary competencies of creativity and technology. We have already had the opportunity to learn a lot, but we are still at the beginning of our collaboration. And we have a lot planned: Namely, to develop together a truly forward-looking offering for customers and employees."

Frank Boegner, also co-founder of oddity and now Managing Director of WongDoody, adds: "In the digitalization, thanks to data and AI, we are at a point where many of its promises may come true: Truly better communication rather than spam, hyper-personalization rather than arbitrariness, etc. We want to share in shaping and connecting these opportunities: With the power of a tech company and the creativity of a design studio. For this, we see ourselves as being well positioned and look forward to the future under the umbrella of the WongDoody brand."
