There's a first time for everything. At the 2010 Radio Mercury Awards on Monday afternoon, there was a tie for the first time since the awards were established in 1992. The winners were announced at the Nasdaq MarketSite in New York, and in an unexpected turn, the judges decided to split the grand prize (worth $100,000) between two spots: Euro RSCG New York's "Cinco" spot for Heineken's Dos Equis and WONGDOODY's "Dear Me" spot for the Washington State Department of Health.

With the college football season underway, Wongdoody is launching a series of ads for ESPN to promote College GameDay. For millions of fans, College GameDay is not just a show, it’s the first tradition they take part in on Saturdays. The 2010 campaign, features show hosts Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and Desmond Howard. The campaign theme focuses on traditions, ranging from high-profile coaches' rituals, to GameDay talent habits to school customs. The campaign includes a total of 11 new spots that will roll out between now and December 4. The spots will air on the ESPN networks.

The list is an annual awards program that recognizes the region's best employers based on their various employee benefit offerings, culture and work/life balance philosophies, among others. This is the agency's fourth year on the list, appearing every year since its inception in 2007.
